The Founders
If It Is Math™ was created by two pioneers in math education — Mazen Haidar, who broke new ground by teaching SAT Math to elementary students aged 8 - 10, with remarkable results, and Seba Haidar, who scored 550 on the SAT Math at age 8 and earned a perfect 5/5 on the AP Calculus AB exam by age 11. (More on their story below.)

Mazen Haidar
Visionary Educator, MS in Computer Engineering, Founder and CEO
Mazen Haidar redefined early academic excellence by achieving what few educators dared — preparing elementary school students for elite-level exams.. While most educators focus on high schoolers, he pioneered the instruction of elementary school students aged 8 to 12 in SAT Math, SAT II Math, and AP Calculus — with students scoring between 520 and 610 on SAT Math, 640–780 on SAT II Math, and a perfect score of 5/5 on the AP Calculus AB.
Since 2006, he has guided high school students toward SAT Math scores ranging from 740 to 800, helping them secure places at top universities (MIT®, Yale University®, New York University®, Cornell University®).
In 2013, he founded Shamsuna Al Arabia, a platform delivering hundreds of translated video courses from MIT®, Harvard University®, Stanford University®, and Yale University® to Arabic-speaking students. By blending deep technical knowledge with elite test prep insight, he has equipped students not just for admission — but for excellence — at the world’s top institutions.
Today, Mazen brings this same level of expertise and dedication to every course and coaching session — ensuring students receive direct guidance from the founder himself.

Seba Haidar made history before turning 11, earning a perfect score of 5/5 on the AP Calculus AB exam while still in 6th grade — one of the youngest students ever to do so.
Her journey began under the instruction of her father Mazen Haidar. By 4th grade, she had already scored 550 on the SAT Math, followed by a 710 on the SAT II Math Subject Test in 5th grade.Â
Accepted to several of the world’s top universities, Siba chose Williams College — the #1-ranked liberal arts college in the U.S. — where she majored in Economics and Psychology.
After three years in strategy consulting, she returned to what shaped her most: math education. Today, she co-leads the very program that once shaped her, helping students reach elite-level scores with the same rigor and passion that defined her own academic journey.
